One of the better kept and supressed local secrets had been the
Police Chiefs black goth of a rebellious daughter ,Tina
had come down with the Monster Flu and had started sprouting
a lengthening tail bone,scales ,bumps that might have been
wings ,sharpening teeth and two bumps that might have been
emerging horns.
She was definitely mutating into some kind of reptilian
winged monster and to keep his own cops from freaking out
the Police Chief had kept his own daughters transformation a
secret from everone else.including his own wife,who'd been stuck in Russia in one of the last organized world conferences
on stopping the Monster Virus.
The Police Chief had figured that if his wife knew that her
only child was turning into a monster she would immediately fly back from the Conference,which likely wouldn't make
things easier for anyone.
So he'd kept mum on the matter and his reptilian monster of
a daughter Tina had,via police surveillance techniques,observing the undercover cops who worked for her
dad the Police Chief
had managed to appear to be imprisoned in her parents house
at the same time she was out and about seeking others like her
reptilian monsters,scalies,big monsters with wings,etc
Being a Black Goth
Tina had even coined a term for this Secret Society of Scalies
she and the others like her were creating
the Tia-Mats,named after some Biblical Age Mesopotamian
draon goddess.
So Tina and the Tiamat Society probably knew about Monica's
scaley condition before pretty well anybody else did.
But the scalies laid low and for the time being had been content
to simply get surplus Police Department issue walkie talkies
with special frequency crystals installed,to the various smarter
and more useful members of the Society.
So when Tina or one of the members of the Society delivered
Monina's walkie talkie
it went down something like this
The doorbell of Sorority House rang
when Rose went to answer it no one was at the door but there
was a Interesting Package lying there on the porch steps.
Rose called the other girls to come down and seeing what Rose
had found.
Then after the chitter chatter had died down Monica had bounded back upstairs and when she laid her head on the
pillow of her bed immediately noticed two things
-there was a Police Department walkie talkie( Surveillance Mk 9)
under the pillow and the window was ajar.
There was also a note tied to the radios handstrap from
the Society,telling her not to tell the others about her gift from
the Secret Society.
