There was a flash of light and Canade stumbled out of bed because of it... "What happened...? Last night I was talking to mommy and then Saya and Kitty came back with non-alcho-" she thought and then her eyes opened wide as she wanted to see what kind of state the fabric of reality was in. "There had to be something alcoholic going on there! I don't just black out like that! Mommy, what hap-"
A shocked Heather sitting in a beanbag chair asked "Um, Canade is everything ok?"
Canade spotted a notebook on the table and wrote in it "What happened last night!"
Heather mumbled "Shouldn't that be a question mark?" before Canade smacked the page and Heather continued "Yeah, before going to bed daddy's business partner came by with you. There was some sort of trick... and you drank A LOT."
Canade's mind still kind of muddled let her write "So, reality wasn't destroyed?"
Heather asked "Um... can I get you a glass of water?" Canade nodded and Heather said "Well let's go get something to drink."
Somehow going to the kitchen to get something to drink turned into them sipping juice while watching an episode or two of Pretty Princess Party... and that turned into binging the entire series the entire Saturday. Heather enjoying her time because Pretty Princess Party was her favorite and now she had someone to watch it with with her. Canade enjoying it, because she remembered watching Pew Pew Pew Pretty Priestess Princess Party Passion when she was a kid, and it was interesting to see a classic.
The latest episode ended with the credits rolling and Heather was jumping around saying "Canade! Canade! Can you believe that Princess Pink was able to handle that Paiju all by herself?!?" Canade let out something kinda like a giggle. She signed something to Heather who thought and asked "So does" and then she repeated one of the hand signs "Mean monster or something?" at which Canade nodded. It was getting late Canade curious about something signed some more and Heather said "Well, daddy is usually busy during the weekends. Usually gets someone to check on me, but I can make some stuff... Ooo, I had some Noodle Cups hidden away! Without anyone watching how about we break them out and have some!" Canade wasn't that familiar with noodle cups... she remember Vicki and Nessa having some on the roof and nodded excited to try something new.
"Ok Ok, they are mostly just flavoring, salt, and the noodles are only kind of food." Heather said apologetically to Canade. Canade was curious about the convenience food of the day, but how could anyone enjoy that junk? Heather asked "So Canade are you doing anything tomorrow?" Canade shook her head no and heather continued "Then could you come with me tomorrow to my friend's house? We were going to do an assignment on our families, sort of a compare and contrast thing... and... I... Um... Don't think I could... Do a good job including... well.. you... without you?" Canade was a little shocked did Heather really see her as family already? Well maybe something akin to a best friend or a sister, but she was being sweet right now. Canade gave a thumbs up. "Thank you!" and then Canade made a few hand signs and heather sighed and said "Ok, I guess it is getting late."
