In the kitchen Silky was showing Cindy a picture of John and Chad snuggling. Silky for sure gave some context to what was going on in that John had probably accidentally rolled onto Chad's mattress. Cindy giggled a bit the two looked cute.
Silky said "What do you think we should call them? Chane? Jade?"
Cindy said "Jade doesn't sound terrible, bu-" John and Chad fell through a portal and crashed on the floor drawing everyone's attention.
The two sprang up as John said "I'm alright!"
Chad muttered "...I'm good too..." having landed on her feet.
Silky asked "What did you two do exactly?"
Chad said "I was practicing using my priestess powers by portaling in here."
Cindy said "And falling a couple of feet?"
John said 'Yeah Chad, Next time make the portal that we can walk through instead of fall through."
Cindy still thinking about the photo said "Aw, you two would make a cute couple."
Chad hiding a little behind John asked "What do you mean?"
Cindy said "Come on. A Priestess who controls time, and a Priestess with some control on space. You'd make a great combo... or at least an adorable pair."
Chad thought and said "We would be hard to beat together..."
John sighed and said "Too bad our magic doesn't work on each other though... at least directly." The conversation was dying down, and thankfully for John cooking was a lot easier when she could just speed up certain parts. Then of course being able to slow down time for the food in particular made them warmer for longer and less likely for the pancakes to absorb the syrup and become a little too messy.
School was about the same for John, Zoe tried to pull off her aging as a quick growth spurt... but everyone called divine intervention... not that they minded big Zoe when compared to little Zoe, but with Chad things were complicated... Her teachers gave Chad the benefit of the doubt as they knew what happened when guys became Priestesses... and Chad casually grabbing stuff from across the room or opening a portal to Antarctica since the AC was on the fritz kinda proved she was a Priestess... Near the end of school she had to go the Principal's office and probably had to resign from her sports club... If not for the fact that she was a girl then the fact that her powers made her completely o.p.
To reduce time and having the ok from both John and Chad were having their meetings at the same time. "...Ok we got back those genetic tests. Jane we sure have proof that you have the genetics of a girl who is very likely to be the daughter of Cindy Mavis. With the whole priestess thing we can give you the benefit of the doubt and consider you to be the John Mavis that went missing..."
"Thanks mam." John muttered
Then Abet said "So... this is Chad Compartments?"
Chad said "I get it, I'm for sure not as big as I was... or a guy..."
Abet replied "Yeah no I can see the familiar resemblance to Zoe... If the small girl didn't just suddenly have one of the largest growth spurts ever in a single day." said Principal glaring at the Priestess who could manipulate time
"yeah... she kinda just sprouted up didn't she?" John said
Abet sighed and said "Jane, can you stop breaking reality for one day?"
John said "Ok I changed Zoe, but she was asking for it. Also I didn't do this to Chad Zoe did."
Abet shocked said "Wait She's Another Priestess?!?"
John said "No... she tried to be one... Prayed and almost became one, but Chad here got targeted instead."
Abet sat down at her desk and said "You know what? I'll just fill out the paperwork... Just get out of my office so I can pretend reality isn't constantly being broken..." Not wanting to keep their principal annoyed the Priestesses left her office fast.
