John was annoyed... Zoe had always had a crush on Kyo... but Kyo wasn't interested, but now that she was big... Well Kyo brought John around to assist on their date to the aquarium. He'd help with building a shrine or two, but still. After a long time of making sure nothing went wrong everything seemed to have gone smooth and John just sat in front of a tank of jellyfish... Least this was kind of soothing just watching them drift and bump around. Then a portal opened up in front of John and out fell a somewhat wet Chad with some red marks on her arms. She seemed to be scared as she muttered "no more... no more octopi..."
John asked "Chad what happened?"
Chad said "Janus sent me on a prayer... Bring a runaway octopus back to it's tank... over and over... I'm Done with Tentacles!!!"
John grinned and said "Tentacles eh?"
Chad glared at John and asked "Where do you even think those tentacles were?"
"Well... if steretypes ever told me anything the-"
"My arms. They constantly stuck to my arms in their slimy way. I was scared they'd rip off my skin."
"Sorry, was just trying to make a joke..."
"...So what are you doing here anyways?"
"Well with Zoe's knew body it was only a matter of time till she went after Kyo."
Chad seemed to brighten up as she asked "So she got accepted this time?"
"Yep, and Kyo had me come along to make sure nothing went wrong..."
"I hope Zoe's having a good time."
"Yeah, they seem to be having a good time."
Chad was looking at the jellyfish as well as she said "You know maybe we should start working together. For this god stuff. Controlling time and being able to be anywhere just sounds so nice."
John nodded and said "That sounds good. Let's pray and hope that'll be enough to let us work on similar things." As they thought they both got a list of chores from their gods that seemed to be the same.
Chad asked "You thinking what I'm thinking?"
John asked "Say goodbye to Kyo and Zoe and get ready on the list of objectives?" The two got that out of the way as fast as possible and scadoodled to see how fast they could get everything done together in this apparent trial run.
