"This is incredible," Kaitlin whispered. Laura could only nod as she finished her tale. Laura had told Kaitlin everything that had happened (minus her and Anna hooking up). She explained how she found them, meeting Anna, coming back to her home and how the dice just kept rolling.
"So how did you teo end up like this," Kaitlin asked as she looked at the teenage girl and the nine year old.
"The dice seem to have a mind if their own," Laura shrugged. "I wasnt trying to be a teenager again."
"Um I kind of kept rolling mine," Anna said meekly. "But I wasnt trying to end up this young!"
Anna gazed down at her bare feet, wincing as she realized her toes barely grazed the floor.
"Do do you think you can help us," Laura asked.
"I mean yeah I'll help you Laura," Kaitlin stated. "Sure I was a bit pissed when I got back to the office and saw you were gone but looking at you two I see you had your reasons." Kaitlin glanced at the unfinished pizza and wine glasses, raising an eyebrow as she turned to Laura and Anna once more. "What were you to up to anyway?"
Anna and Laura blushed fiercely as memories of their college makeout session came to their minds. At their current age the idea of the two of them being intimate was incredibly embarrassing. Before either one could answer an ethereal voice echoed through the condo.
"Kaitlin Murray the spirit of youth has bonded with you. Each roll of the dice shall return more of what you have lost."
Kaitlin, Laura, and Anna's eyes went wide as they looked at the box in Kaitlins hand. Kaitlin hadn't even realized she was holding the box until now. "Shit," Kaitlin whispered. "Does this mean the same thing that happened to you teo is going to happen to me!?"
Laura and Anna nodded as Kaitlin gulped. While Kaitlin wasnt exactly thrilled to be 39 and turning 40 next month, she would take that over having to go through puberty or elementary school again. The only question now was, how many dice had bonded to her. Carefully opening the box the three of them now gazed down at the dice.
