It was a great dinner for both Holly and Conor. Since it was a fancier place, they had dressed up. Conor wore a nice dress shirt and slacks while Holly was in a long dress. It was low cut which Conor liked. Despite being a "boob guy," he had fallen for Holly and her petite A cups. When she wore any dress, she made sure to use a push up bra that gave her the slightest bit of cleavage. He pale skin had a few small moles and freckles that gave her body a texture that her lack of curves could not. Being only 4'11" Conor could normally peak at her down her blouse and imagine her naked.
They entered the apartment to find Anna was out. As Holly reclined on the sofa, Conor went to retrieve a pair of champagne glasses from the cabinet. After pouring a couple of drinks, he reached into the drawer and took out the ring box. A nervous feeling came over Conor as he prepared to make this life-changing decision. He took a deep breath and entered the living room.
Placing the glasses down, Holly looked up.
"What's with all the fancy stuff tonight? Champagne? Wow"
"I thought we could make tonight special"
"Oh, how sweet" she cooed.
"Here, stand up" He beckoned.
She stood up and looked up at Conor giving her a loving smile. Before she new what was happening, her body reacted with a wide smile and tears in her brown eyes.
Conor was kneeling in front of her.
"Ever since we met, I knew this day would happen. Holly, will you marry me?"
Holly nodded and grabbed Conor's head. He took her hand and slipped the ring on her slender finger. It fit perfectly. Wanting to see it clearly, she held it up to the light. Its sparkle hit her eyes as they dilated. A slight breeze came through and blew her short brunette hair. Conor stood up and gave her a hug and kiss.
