"Do you think anyone inside," Laura asked Kaitlin. Kaitlin said nothing as she now peered inside one of the windows. Due to the grime coating them she couldn't be sure. "Let's try the front door."
As the three of them now approached the heavy looking door, Kaitlin failed to noticed the loose cement stairs. Stepping up she suddenly stumbled, the box holding the dice flying from her hand and smashing open against the door. All three womens eyes went wide as the dice bounced on the ground.
"Twenty three years you have walked this Earth. Now this number is but fourteen. Each roll of the dice returns more of what you lost."
Kaitlin had no time to react as the orbs of light now floated off her body. Laura watched as the honey blond womans body began to grow younger. Kaitlins hips narrowed as her breasts shrank becoming a pair of small b's. Laura could even see Kaitlins face becoming more youthful, losing its maturity as it began to round off. As the lights vanished Laura now gazed at a very cute blond teen with a waifish figure and innocent face.
"Welcome to the kids table," Anna said wryly. Kaitlin could only frown, grabbing her now too large pants to keep them from sliding off her narrow hips.
"Very funny pip squeak," Kaitlin grumbled, wincing at the now youthful tenor of her voice. Taking stock of herself Kaitlin could only sigh, she looked like she had when she was a cheerleader in junior high. "Let's fix this please before we roll ourselves back to diapers." Anna and Laura could only nod, trying to push the thought out if their heads.
Pushing hard against the door, the three grown down now gazed around the building. Despite its dilapidated appearance outside, it seemed to be well maintained inside. Shelves lined with various items that the girls believed to be magical lined the store.
"May I help you?"
Startled the three now looked towards the front desk, noticing a non descript man behind the counter. Kaitlin now quickly approached, a polite smile on her face. "Hi we'd like to return these."
The man now took the dice Kaitlin handed him, examining them carefully. "My apologies did they not work?"
"Oh they worked," Laura stated motioning to herself, Kaitlin, and Anna. "We used to be alot older."
The man now studied the two teens and the child carefully, noticing the girls baggy clothing. "Ah I see," he said. Carefully he now put the dice away before typing some information into his computer. "Which one of you is Laura Peters?"
Laura slowly raised her hand, curious as to what was going. The man now looked at the 15 year old giving her a polite smile. "Well Laura," he said. "It appears you were looking for a fresh start. That's why you received the Lotd."
"I never said that," Laura responded incredulously.
"Sub consciously you did," he answered. Laura stared at the man dumbstruck, had she wanted this to happen?
"Well Ms. Peters," he said. "I can fix this if you wish."
"Yes please," Laura sighed. "I think were ready." The man now smiled, reaching under the counter and producing a magic wand. With a quick flick of his wrist Laura, Anna, and Kaitlin now saw orbs of light begin to float from their bodies.
