The Magic Shop

The threat reveals itself to Lilith and Circe

added by O 3 years ago A AR O

Lilith and Circe exchanged a troubled glance before looking down at Kellie and Ann. “Perhaps now would be a good time to conclude our lesson,” Circe stated.

“Perhaps you are right,” Lilith said quietly. Snapping her fingers Lilith now summoned a demon who bowed before his queen. “Take Circes guard to the daycare center,” she said. “And perhaps find him a diaper so we don’t have to worry about any messes.” The demon nodded, scooping the toddler anthro lion up as it began to chortle happily. “Kellie why don’t you and your daughter find Jack and meet up with your friends,” Circe said. Kellie gazed curiously at Lilith and Circe before helping the goth teen to her feet and exiting the throne room. With the room now clear Lilith and Circe talked in hushed tones.

“Did you get a glimpse of that girls timeline,” Circe asked. Lilith nodded solemnly as she turned towards her friend. “Yes and I am assuming you did as well my friend.” Circe nodded, rubbing her chin thoughtfully. She too had seen a vision after reading the girls mind and what she saw troubled her deeply. “We need to see Merlin now.”

Apparating into the Magic Shop required little effort for the two powerful witches, seeing Baba Yaga and Merlin snuggling with one another as they conducted inventory though did cause them to roll their eyes. “Are we interrupting something,” Lilith grumbled, causing the with and wizard to jump. “Lilith, Circe, what a pleasant surprise,” Merlin stated sarcastically.

“We do not want to be here anymore than we have to Wizard,” Lilith sighed. “We come asking for your assistance.”

“Since when does the all powerful mother of demons need a mans help,” Baba teased, causing Lilith to flush red with anger. “We can belittle eachother another time,” Circe said hastily. “Right now I need to show you two something.” As all parties now settled down Circe waved her hands, summoning Morgan LeFays crystal ball. Slowly but surely she now summoned the image of the third timeline.

The four powerful sorcerers now watched what Ann had seen before fleeing her timeline. The goth teen had watched a group of beings appear, slaughtering anyone connected to her. As the group fled into the Magic Shop they watched as Ann’s sister summoned forth a portal allowing the girl to flee. What they saw afterwards was the whole sale slaughter of the doppelgängers in that timeline. Despite their best efforts they were no match for the creatures who now ruled that timeline.

“I have already asked my niece Medea to gather information on who they are,” Circe said stoically. “However we needed to ask you if had any information that could be useful.”

Merlin carefully studied the group now, furrowing his brow. “No I can’t say that I do,” Merlin said quietly. “But their power...it’s incredible.”

“That would be an understatement,” Lilith muttered. “They destroyed an entire timeline without sustaining so much as a scratch. Do you think they may have a connection with any of the others of our race.”

“Doubtful,” Merlin said. “None would dare be so brazen as to attack another timeline like this. No these creatures are something we have never encountered.”

As they now watched anxiously they could see the leader of the group slowly turn, his dark eyes now seeming to glare at each of them. “We are coming,” Villar growled.

“Can he see us,” Baba exclaimed.

“Yes witch I can,” Villar smiled. “I am Villar. A power none have seen before. I am beyond your powers. Beyond the gods who stand watch as the timelines diverge. I am coming to merge the timelines and rule over what is left.” Without warning Villar now narrowed his eyes, causing the crystal ball to shatter into pieces.

The silence that now rang through the Magic Shop was deafening. An enemy had been revealed to them, leaving the four sorcerers with a single name and a growing sense of apprehension. A powerful force was descending on them, one that even they did not know if they could defeat. Now all that was left was to prepare for the inevitable battle.
