Kellie couldn’t help but grin as she watched her friends banter back and forth. While she had a feeling the good times were about to come to an end, she would enjoy them for now. Turning towards Mika she could see a worried look on the jade Kitsune face. “Hey Mika can I talk with you real quick.”
Nodding Mika now approached. “Okay Mika spill it,” Kellie said quietly. “What do you know?”
Mika sighed, her shoulders slumping as she now gazed out at the park. “I received a call from my parents,” she said sadly. “Tatsu and Shizen. They Tell me that we can’t stop this Kellie, everyone we know, everything we care about will be destroyed.”
Kellie took a deep breath, placing a hand on Mika’s shoulder as she gave the Kitsune a soft smile. “Mika,” she said softly. “Listen, this isn’t the first apocalypse I’ve faced okay? Traveling through the timelines, growing up with Merlin watching me, I’ve seen things that would make you want to curl into a ball and give up.”
“But these things Kellie,” Mika pleaded. “They are like a forest fire. They can not be stopped.”
“If we believe it can’t be stopped than we’ve already lost,” Kellie said. “Look, I’ve been battling otherworldly things since I was 6. Things that should have destroyed the universe. In all those times I’ve learned one thing. If you have hope than you have a chance.”
Mika nodded, still unsure of Kellies confidence. “I take it your still not convinced,” Kellie sighed. “And look that’s fine. Just know Mika that I believe in all of us. Now why don’t you take a look at our friends, I think we’re about to see something fun.” Mika now turned to where Kellie was pointing, curious as to what was about to happen.
As Lisa and Karen now debated who would go next, with Kumiko and Mary Elise trying to offer their opinions as well, Claudia was happily watching Samantha play with the anthro lion cub. As toddler tunes blasted happily out of the daycare, Claudia couldn’t help but let a small smile cross her face as she began to tap her foot. As ‘Baby Shark’ now began to play, Mika and Kellie watched as Claudia softly began to sing along.
As Claudia now began to sing,Kellie and Mika noticed Claudia s face grow softer. Watching closely they could see that with each lyric Claudia was growing younger. Claudia now appeared to be getting more into the song, her singing becoming louder as she now began growing smaller. The petite blond was now noticeably shorter than her friends, her clothing beginning to grow baggy as she reentered junior high.
“What’s happening to Claudia,” Mika whispered.
“It’s the music,” Kellie smiled. “I had a feeling something like that would happen. The more you sing along the younger you get.” Mika gawked now at her junior high girlfriend who seemed oblivious to the fact she was only 13 years old now.
As Claudia now became 12 Kellie and Mika noticed her smiling, singing louder as she journeyed towards childhood. Puberty was now rapidly abandoning the girl as she became more enamored with the song. The young blond had a serene smile on her face as she continued growing shorter. “I can’t believe the others haven’t noticed yet,” Mika whispered. “They’re too caught up in their own thing right now,” Kellie stated.
Claudia was now approaching single digits, her clothing becoming quite baggy as her face became more innocent. As she now went from 10 to 9, Mika and Kellie noticed further changes to the girl. Claudia was now shifting into her anthro tigress form, bright red fur began to cover her body as her ears began to shift towards the top of her head. Even Claudia’s face began to change, a small muzzle pushing outwards as whiskers began to form. Although usually Claudia’s tigress form usually grew larger and more muscular, this anthro tiger remained the same size as child like. “Aww she looks so cute,” Mika sighed. “Wonder why she’s shifting now?”
“Claudia is pretty comfortable being an anthro,” Kellie shrugged. “She’s just getting more comfortable I suppose.”
“How young do you think she going to get” Mika asked.
“Probably the same age as Sammy,” Kellie answered. “So not only do you get to be the older one in the relationship you get to babysit too. Congratulations.” Mika laughed softly, sticking her tongue out at Kellie as they now watched the anthro tigress girl grow younger. Claudia couldn’t be more than 7 now, her singing growing louder as she inches closer to preschool. The anthro tigress clothing was now changing on her as well, Claudia’s shoes and socks had vanished while her shirt and pants shrank to fit her new form. As the girl became 6 her singing becam so loud that the others now turned, gasping in shock at their tiny anthro friend.
“Claudia,” Kumiko gasped.
Claudia didn’t answer, too enthralled in the song. As the girl went from 6 to 5 she turned up towards her friends, singing in a chipmunk like voice with a wide smile across her face.
The girls said nothing as Claudia now began to journey back to preschool. The tiny 5 year old anthro grew smaller becoming 4, before shrinking down into a slightly chubby 3 year old anthro tigress. The anthro toddler gazed up at her friends with wide innocent eyes, her small tail twitching behind her. Turning towards the daycare she now began waving to Samantha. “Hey Sammy can I play too?”
Samantha saw her friend, rushing up to the toddler anthro and grabbing her by the paw. As she dragged Claudia inside their friends couldn’t help but gave at the two of them. Two of them had now been transformed into toddlers, who would be next?
