As Alora grinned at her accomplishment of two new Polyps - She looks to see that she has company.
Sarah was an attractive young woman simply enjoying the sun, finally relaxing after finishing her second year of college. Although she loved her new independence from her parents, she missed being a teenage babysitter.
Sarah was always fond of children. She gained a reputation for being one of the best babysitters in the town. Her favorite part of babysitting was tucking the kids to sleep and reading them a bedtime story.
Unfortunately, although she loved kids, Sarah hasn't found a man to make them with.
Her parents were strong advocates of Sarah's academic performance. Although she loved getting praise regarding report cards from her parents growing up, it wasn't until adulthood that Sarah realized that maybe college wasn't for her. She wanted to be a housewife, a mother, a caretaker. Unfortunately, she has to complete her degree and find a job in order to pay her debt.
Sarah cursed the day she applied for federal student loans.
"If only there was a way to escape the land and… find something more." Sarah grumbled.
"Maybe I could help with that."
Sarah looks to see Alora, causing the human girl to gasp. Before she could scream, Sarah's mouth was promptly covered by one of Alora's forest green tentacles.
"Now, now. No need to panic. I'm not here to harm, I'm here to help."
Sarah took several breaths once her mouth was freed. She was baffled. "What do you mean?" Sarah asked.
"You desire to escape your human life. I could help with that." Alora answered.
Upon hearing Alora's words, Sarah calmed herself down. "I'm listening."
Alora grinned as she brought out a golden contract and a pen. "Would you like to be a mermaid?"
Sarah's eyes widened. She always loved mermaids. In fact, her favorite story to read to kids was The Little Mermaid. One summer, she was even a live mermaid performer for an aquarium.
"A mermaid? Of course!"
The girl's eyes eagerly looked over the contract's terms and conditions. Her face, however, soon became a frown as she read the fine print - Three days and she would be dragged in Alora's cave to be a polyp.
Alora was quite surprised, this was the first time she encountered a human that has actually read the contract.
"This is unacceptable. I shall not sign it whatsoever!" Sarah growled.
Alora became panicked and her eyes darted around for a solution, fast. It was then that she spotted a group of children playing in the beachwater.
"Bingo." The sea witch thought.
Alora pointed her hand to the children, Sarah's eyes quickly followed the finger's direction
"Look at those kids, Sarah. Wouldn't you like to entertain them? They're all alone and, from what I see, their families are busy at a barbecue. Poor babies." Alora said in a whimpering tone.
"I mean…" Sarah stammered. "I do want to help them, but-"
"But what? Wouldn't you want to break away from the human world, even if it's just for a few days?
Here's my new deal. You'll be mine in three days, but you won't only be a beautiful mermaid… But you'll be a mermaid princess!
Your tiara would be magical and grant the wishes of any kid who asks nicely. You would even be able to perform magic to entertain the little buggers. What do you say, Sarah?" Alora suggested.
Sarah's eyes sparkled as she watched the kids. A tear threatened to come out of her eye as the motherly side of her wanted to bring joy to those kids. It was then that Sarah sighed and took the pen.
"I'll do it."
Alora grinned as Sarah signed her name. While her contract was a certainly more generous than the previous ones, Sarah was still signing her freedom away.
As soon as she finished signing, Sarah fell down to the ground with a grunt.
Sarah wondered why her legs seemingly gave up on her until she gasped at what she saw.
In the place of her legs was a very long, beautiful, purple fish tail. Her hair began to grow out. It turned to a strawberry blonde, growing out past her scaly hips. Pearls, shells, and gold bangles decorated her arms and hair.
Sarah's breasts begin to swell as well. Slowly, they grow larger and larger, speeding through B cups and C cups before settling on a pair of D cups. At this point, her bikini bottom was completely shredded while the top was now a pair of white seashells that clung to her breasts.
Sarah admired her new body. A tiara with a magical amethyst gem crowned her head like a soft beam of light. It was as if she was a living Walt-era Disney princess, with her dress and legs replaced by two seashells and a tail.
The new mermaid couldn't help but squeal in joy before a small purple book softly landed on her scaly lap.
"This a book of spells for new magic users." Alora said. "There's a lot of interesting stuff in there. You should be able to get the hang of it, Sarah. Enjoy your new fish body."
"Thank you, Alora. I will!" Sarah beamed as she eagerly jumped into the water. Her tailfins splashed gracefully as she went to meet with the children.
Alora smirked. "Three polyps in one day? I'm on a roll!"
