Suddenly Jacob feels rather weak, his battery indicator indicated that he almost ran out of battery. "Can you recharge my battery", he texted before landing next to the battery charger. Matt nodded, examining the drone. The batteries had simple connectors he had to disconnect and then connect to the charger. "I'm going to have to disconnect you from your battery", he said. Jacob texted back, "That's alright, I'll be alright".
Matt held the drone in one hand as he loosened the velco that held the batteries, he unplugged the first one and Jacob's drone body became limp having no power at all. He also unplugged the second battery and plugged them into the charger reading it's display, "Hmm, an hour, that might be close". Having nothing else to do he examined Jacob's body. On it's back there was not much, just a small box of electronics. Uppon closer inspection he noticed a memory card. Curiously he pulled it out and put it into Jacob's computer. On it there were lots of files which he copied over to it. Looking through them he found that they contained facts about Jabob's mind, his memories his desires things he wouldn't dare to say to anybody. He started to edit some basic things, he wrote in that Jacob always had been a drone and that his owner was Matt. "This can't possibly work, can it?", Matt said to himself as he replaced the memory card into Jacob.
As there was still some time he laid down on his bed wondering what he could become. The though about the possibilities made him get a boner and he slowly drifted into bliss. As he woke up he noticed that the timer on the Chronivac was down to 4 minutes. Not wanting to risk Jacob transform with his battery detached, he rushed to the long finished charger and quickly connected the batteries to him, fastening them again with the strip of velcro. After a few seconds he came back to life texting, "Told you I would be alright" before buzzing off again.
Matt watched Jacob curiously as he texted, "What's that timer?" hovering near the computer screen. "You really don't know?", Matt asked before continuing, "It's when the Chronivac will turn you back into a human. Oh shit, it really worked.". "What worked?", came back as a reply in text. "I've edited your mind, didn't think it would work.", he said as the timer was in its last minute. "Why would you even do that?" texted Jacob as the timer went to zero.
Suddenly the drone started to flatten. His propeller shrunk in size, forcing him to land on the ground. Within moments they disappeared and along them did the motors. His arms and legs started to fatten up to some more human proportions making him almost appear like a tiny human. Gradually he drew and his camera head became more and more human. After that was probably a minute or so he regain his former human size and shape, he looked at Matt wanting to text something to his phone, but it didn't work, then it came to him and he started using his mouth, "Woah, this is weird". He looked over his nude fleshy body.
Matt asked him, "Do you still think you always were a drone?" "Well of course I was" "Don't you remember coming here? Undressing?", he pointed at the shorts still on the ground. "Yeah, that's weird? So you did change my mind then? I still barely believe that. I mean you're my owner so it's your right to do so, but it looks like you botched it. My memories don't quite make any sense". Matt nodded. "Now if you could please change me back, this body feels weird, and I think I cannot even hover", Jacob continued.
