Laura's come too far to give up now. She returns to her abandoned search of the house and locates a key to the office in Liz's bedside table. Using it turns out to be quite the challenge in her current state, but she manages it and enters the office.
She climbs into the desk chair. The computer thankfully doesn't have a password, so Laura is able to look up the store. Unfortunately, she learns she has only made it a little over halfway since leaving the library. If she's going to make it she'll need to be fully rested, fed, and dressed first. She prints the directions and puts them with the dice.
First she attends to food. Managing the stairs is no small feet, but she succeeds in reaching the bottom without incident. By throwing her whole body weight against the door, she pushes open the fridge and finds several bottles labeled breast milk. She shivers at the thought of drinking it but decides to be practical. She takes one bottle and makes her way back up the stairs.
She returns to the nursery and places the bottle in a bottle warmer. After a few minutes, the bottle warmer beeps and she removes the bottle. Seeing the side of the crib was down, Laura climbs up to take her nap. Once she's inside she grabs the side for support and inadvertently presses a button. The open side slides up and knocks Laura off her feet. She looks up to see the mobile start spinning and hear soothing music playing.
Deciding to worry about getting out later, she removes her pacifier and starts drinking from the bottle. The warm milk and the music combine to almost instantly put her to sleep.
