I gazed at the world below me as I flew across the sky in the form of a burning rainbow. This avatar was particularly unstable, and not that different from my former amorphous state, but it was also very malleable.
Speaking of which, it could be useful to have a more... corporeal form to interact with the primordials. And mortals once we got around to creating some.
Oh, me, there was so much to do. After we get rid of the primordials I'll have to form a pantheon with some of the other gods, then we'll create a mortal race and find somewhere for them to live and make an afterlife for them and-
Oh right, the avatar.
I saw a hawk flying below me and thought that looked fun. I was enjoying my rainbow form though, so I tried to meet both halfway.
I created an actual physical body for myself and stretched it out, assuming the basic shape of a bird, except much bigger than any normal one. I probably wouldn't be able to fly according to the laws of physics, but that would hardly stop me from doing it. I grew bright feathers of every color of the rainbow, and a golden beak and talons which could be useful in the coming fight. To finish it off I tried to add back in a little bit of my burning rainbow form, enveloping me in a coat of multicolored flame. I may have gone a bit too overboard though, my form seemed less solid then I intended, and more like I was made of the flame. Oh well, this is good enough.
I soared high into the sky as I wondered which primordial to take on. With my divinely enhanced sight I looked at the lands around me. To the south, I saw a warrior god whose avatar was clad in blood drenched black armor standing against a seemingly infinite horde of ratmen, to the east I saw a gigantic storm clouding the air, centered around a gigantic winged serpent that seemed to be made from parts of the storm itself, and to the west I saw a team of gods fighting against a gigantic six legged wolf made of ice.
