"I have something I want to try, but it's kind of embarrassing. Promise me you won't laugh when I explain it to you." Monica requested.
"I won't laugh." Colin assured.
"Okay. I tend to overthink a lot. I feel like I never enjoy myself because I am a always distracted by invasive thoughts. However, yesterday when we did it, it was different. I was completely in the moment and I didn't worry about anything." Monica explained.
"Does that mean you want to do it again?" Colin cheekily suggested.
"No, you doofus. I want to live more in the moment. I want to be more careless and daring. Here's the embarrassing part. I want to try being stupid. Not permanent of course. I just want a vacation from my mind. With the reality change feature I could create some sort of alternate me. A simpler fun-oriented me." she continued.
Monica rapidly typed text into the Chronivac. She spent about 10 minutes trying to get the details of her change just right. She then turned around to Colin to give him some instructions.
"The changes includes a reality change which is going to adapt to my different intellect and personality. I've made it so the change will last a maximum of two days, so I am going to automatically revert back after 48 hour has passed. If I ask you to or anything goes wrong, please change me back. Oh, and make sure you don't let the new me use the Chronivac on her own. One last thing, please don't tease the new me too hard."
She nervously pressed apply changes. Suddenly a different Monica sat in front of Colin. There were some immediately noticeable visual changes. Her hair had turned black, but closer inspection to her scalp revealed she was still a natural brunette, just dyed Her skin had a slight tan instead of her previously pasty skin. Her arms had some muscle tone to them. Not only her arms, she was overall much fitter. There was less extra fat on her body. Less fat had caused her boobs to reduce in size. However, they appeared more pronounced on her fitter body.
"Wow." Monica slowly exclaimed.
"How do you feel?" Colin asked her.
"It's different. Like I am the same, but different you know? I feel like me, but I also feel like I am not me."
"I see, but more importantly, what's seven times eight?" he cheekily asked her.
"Colin, I said not to tease me." she said and playfully punched his shoulder.
"So you actually don't know the answer." he grinned.
"Oh. I know the answer." she purred. She leaned into him and planted a kiss on his lips.
