Colin felt his phone vibrate. He pulled it up and saw that he had received a snap from Sarah. It was a selfie of her in the university cafeteria holding a math book. It was captioned "I am prepping for the lecture. Come join me!" Colin noted she still had the blue eyes and height Colin had given her
"Let me see!" Monica chirped.
Colin turned his phone around, letting Monica get a view of what he'd received.
"Sarah wants to meet up? Let's go see her." she reacted.
Colin accepted the proposal. He had wanted to fool around with Monica before he left for today's lecture, but he was curious about how this Monica would interact with Sarah or other people. Colin and Monica got properly dressed. Monica's clothes from yesterday had changed with reality, but not only that. Monica found she had some fresh clothes at Colin's dorm for some reason.
Together, Colin and Monica arrived at the cafeteria. Colin spotted Sarah and waved at her, trying to get her attention. She looked up from the book she was reading.
"Colin! It's so nice you joined me." Sarah smiled. She turned towards Monica and added "Nice to see you too Monica."
"Sarah!" Monica exclaimed and rushed to hug her. Sarah, looking somewhat strained, hugged her back.
Sarah and Monica exchanged a few pleasantries. Sarah then excused herself and pulled Colin to the side and harshly whispered to him "Colin, why did you bring your girlfriend here? I wanted to work on math, but that's going to be impossible with her around. If we try to study, she's just going to get bored and distract you."
"Girlfriend?" Colin mused. Monica was his girlfriend in this reality it seemed. He didn't mind that at all.
"What are you guys talking about?" Monica prodded, looking at them inquisitively.
"Uh, Nothing interesting. I was just asking Colin about a math thing." Sarah responded.
"Oh. Okay." Monica disinterestedly replied.
Colin was intrigued. Sarah had acted coldly towards Monica even though they had previously been such close friends. Come to think of it, Colin and Sarah first met Monica in a math workshop. This Monica couldn't really major in math, which meant they had met in a different manner. He guessed Sarah just knew Monica as the annoying girlfriend of a friend in this reality.
