"How do you want to approach thissss?" The cobra turned to Todd and went all business. "We can jussst erassse them. Or... change them. Or whatever. Do we reveal oursssselvessss? Can't stay in this building forever."
"No, you're right." Todd gulped. "I... I think we have to venture out. I want to bring the rest of the zoo under our control anyway."
"All right." The Cobra crossed her arms sternly again and looked around. "You'd better at least put ssssssome clothessss on."
Todd blushed and nodded, heading back upstairs for his old clothes with the remote.
The humans at the door began to knock on the glass and try their keys in the door. The cobra lady grinned slightly as she had had the foresight to use some metal implements they had found to jam into the locks while Todd had been setting up the water business. The mist began to clear around the door and besides the grungy film over the glass there was nothing to keep them hidden any longer.
Todd came back downstairs fully dressed and reduced to his original stature minus the glasses.
"Well?" The snake pointed. "What do we do? It won't be long now."
"Brave new world, I guess." Todd shrugged. He turned back to the crocodiles and the komodo dragon and gulped. "Hey, I need my muscle up here. There's people. We're gonna open the doors."
This got a lot of attention and some of the lizards scrambled to get out of the way lest things go badly. The two iguanas stirred, not having wound up particularly small themselves, and joined the other three standing at least man size.
"Let them come." The female iguana said with a rather insistant tone.
"Hmmh." The male smiled.
"Yeah, all right." The komodo dragon flexed her huge biceps and lied down lazily on the floor, casually smacking her tail against the ground in apparent boredom. "I guess that's where we are."
The crocodiles stood between their friends and the rest of he building like good bodyguards. Fred seemed to relish his buff new body, which Gretta rolled her eyes at. "Oh, don't even pretend you're some super badass. I know you cry at everything." She whispered.
"What?" Fred said softly, shrugging.
Todd walked up to the door first. This surprised the humans. The one in charge, obviously some sort security guy or administrator or something, knocked on the glass with displeasure as Todd unlocked the one entrance door from the inside.
He stepped back, eyed the cobra, and she grinned sadistically from behind the desk. They were about to have their world changed, for sure. With or without the remote.
"Well, we did elect you leader." Todd looked back at the cobra as the guy in charge frantically and angrily went for the door flanked by two zookeepers.
"I'm fine with that. My people will remain free." She insisted, leaning over the desk and waiting patiently.
The guy in charge had a name tag and a fancy suit. He was indeed the administrator of the zoo and looked the part.
"What the hell is going on here?" He blurted, ignoring the suddenly pale white zookeepers flanking him as they saw the giant snake lady and went into dumbfounded shock.
"Sssseemssss you're tresssspassssing in my reptile housssse." The cobra said suddenly, getting all the attention.
