As the two walk down the street, Kaitlin asks, "So what does getting younger feel like?"
"Oh a little like this," Laura tosses Kaitlin's die on the ground.
“Thirty nine years you have walked this earth. Now this number is but thirty seven. Each roll of the die shall return more of what has been lost.”
Kaitlin gasps as the floating orbs of light appear. But once they've subsided, she frowns.
"Well I guess dropping two years at my age doesn't feel like much of anything."
Laura annoyed, gives the die a little kick.
“Thirty seven years you have walked this earth. Now this number is but thirty one. Each roll of the die shall return more of what has been lost.”
This time Kaitlin trips, falls, and Laura's die falls out of her pocket.
“Thirty six years you have walked this earth. Now this number is but thirty three. Each roll of the die shall return more of what has been lost.”
Laura bends down to help Kaitlin up.
"Sorry I forgot you were wearing heels."
Kaitlin laughs, "No harm done. I definitely felt something that time though! Maybe our first stop should be a clothing store."
