The two find clothes without further reductions. Heading out Kaitlin suggests the two go to see a new horror movie that just realeased. Laura agrees, though doesn't admit her low tolerance for scary films, and they head over.
The two are amused to see the college age ticket seller checking them out. As they enter Kaitlin gives Laura a little shove.
"Stop drooling. You're old enough to be his mother."
"I'm not! Besides you could be too."
"If I had him in highschool maybe."
"Whatever let's get popcorn and head inside."
Laura's squeamishness presents itself early on in the film,much to Kaitlin's amusement. During a particularly bad part Laura finds herself covering her eyes.
"Oh come on stop being such a baby."
"I'm fine."
"You're cowering like a little girl."
"Am not!"
Laura doesn't see as Kaitlin drops her die on the ground and can't hear the spirit's voice as it says.
“Twenty five years you have walked this earth. Now this number is but twenty one. Each roll of the die shall return more of what has been lost.”
She does feel her body reduce as she quivers.
"Come on no fair."
"There's no rules."
"Fine," Laura snaps as she tosses Kaitlin's die.
“Twenty five years you have walked this earth. Now this number is but twenty three. Each roll of the die shall return more of what has been lost.”
"Still not a scaredy cat like you."
Laura groans and goes to pick up the die only to realize both aren't visible in the dark theater.
