After the movie wraps up the two head out with the crowd. The two notice they are getting a large number of strange looks as they walk clad in only dress-like shirts. Deciding that new clothes were a priority, the two head over a a children's clothing store.
There their dark mood dissipates as they look upon all the clothing options available. Something about the childish clothes enamored the newly minted children.
Laura dons a pair of purple jeans and a Hello Kitty shirt. Kaitlin ends up deciding on a blue skirt with a white shirt. When they each emerge from the fitting room's they almost don't recognize each other. The blonde fifth grader and the brunette fourth grader easily look the part.
"This is so weird," observes Kaitlin.
"I know and I kind of like it," replies Laura.
"Are you saying you want to stay like this?"
"No, but why don't we look around the mall a bit more. There might be something fun to do before we go back to normal."
"Ok sure. But just remember I'm the older and smarter one now, so you gotta listen to me."
"You're not my mommy," Laura quips.
