Megan finds herself at a crossroads. She’s already abetted in what ended up being a murder. Sure, the guy deserved it, but it looks like Cathy, who she doesn’t even know, just wants to start doing this on the regular. Megan decides she’s gone too far to turn back now. She has the power, she’s going to keep the power, and she’s going to stop anyone who’s going to get in her way.
“Here,” she says, “the gun is right here.” But instead of handing it over, as Cathy expects, Megan quickly feints and fires the gun at Cathy. Soon, Cathy is so small that Megan can barely make her out on the thin dorm-room carpet.
“I’m sorry to do this,” Megan said, mostly sincerely. “But this was just getting too complicated.” She then gently picks Cathy up. The tiny woman is pitching a fit, but Megan can’t make out anything beyond some nondescript yelling. Without even really thinking about it, Megan puts Cathy in her mouth. Instead of chewing, she uses her tongue to push Cathy around a bit, and then swallows.
She can’t believe it. She has a live person inside her stomach. For a second, Megan wonders if she’s gone too far and should throw Cathy up before she suffocates or, worse, dissolves in Megan’s stomach acids.
But she doesn’t. This is nice. This is really nice. She looks at the gun. She could really take advantage of this.
