"Colin!" Monica enthusiastically grabbed his arm. "We should do something fun!"
Colin wondered if he should skip the lecture to spend time with Monica, but then again, why should he even attend it in the first place? He had access to a reality altering program. There is no need to study when reality is at his fingertips. Hanging out with the dumber Monica seemed much more enjoyable than some boring lecture that didn't even matter.
"Sorry Sarah." He apologized. "I think I'll hang out with Monica today and instead study some other time. I hope you don't mind."
"It's fine. Go ahead and hang out with her. Just make sure you actually do study at some point. It won't be my fault if you come to the exam totally unprepared because you spent all your time fooling around with your girlfriend." Sarah advised.
"Don't worry about me. I'll manage just fine." he replied. He smirked to himself. Sarah had no idea. He didn't even need to prepare for any exam because of the Chronivac. He turned back around to Monica and told her that they were free to do whatever.
"Monica, you told me you wanted to something fun. Did you have anything in particular in mind?" Colin asked her.
Monica paused. Her face had a concentrated look. He recognized the expression from whenever the old Monica had gotten stuck on a math problem. For a second she looked to be thoroughly contemplating what kind of activity the two of them should do together. Then her thoughtful expression broke.
"You decide." she plainly stated.
"I am to decide?" Colin replied. "You told me you wanted to do something fun, but you didn't plan any further than that?
"Well. Anything is fine. It's not like important what we do. I just enjoy spending time with you" she cooed.
Monica softly pulled Colin down towards her and kissed him. Not just a peck, she went for a full make out. They were standing in the middle of campus, but she didn't seem to mind that. Colin on the other hand wasn't as comfortable. While he enjoyed the taste of Monica and her body pressing up to him, he felt too exposed. He could feel disapproving looks from people passing by.
Colin gently pushed Monica away, breaking their kiss. She didn't mind that. She looked at him doe-eyed, her lips slightly parted, awaiting his next word or action. They both paused, looking in each other eyes. After a short while of silence, she let out a giggle. A grin was plastered over her face. She appeared happy and content.
