"WAIT!!!" He yelled, probably louder than he meant but he was truly distressed.
Jenny suddenly froze, turning with a sad face but a straight posture. "Yes sir? What's wrong?" She asked with the same tone of voice that Justin had seen with plenty of scared students over the years. He felt bad, but he needed to get that camera if he wanted to reverse Jennifer's change.
How would he do it though? He didn't even know if it could be reversed, let alone how to do so. Plus, if "Jenny's" friend Becky was any indication, the whole world thought she had always been like this. He decided he would have to test it first.
"I'm sorry to startle you." He apologized. "I just need to keep it overnight... It's delicate equipment." he lied.
Jennifer, luckily in this case, was a teen so completely believed him. She gave him a relieved smile before giving him the camera and then running off. He could hear Jennifer and Becky giggling, probably thinking she avoided some punishment. Justin considered trying to change her back now, but given he didn't know how it worked he could make her something worse. What even were the camera's limits? Could she change back or would it make her something worse like an animal or object?
"I just have to find some... test subjects." He whispered.
He walked out of his classroom, beginning to wander around. He saw some students leaving due to no class their final period. He considered one of them but he felt to guilty ruining such young lives if things went south. He also considered some of the teachers he passed but also thought that would be too cruel.
Finally, a thought crossed his mind. Who was now in charge of Jennifer's classroom? If reality itself and changed, then someone must be teaching there, right? He sped walked down the hall, until finally reaching her classroom. His heart sank as he read "Mr. Yang" instead of its usual listing.
Anger started to replace his guilt, and he figured this Mr. Yang would be an excellent test subject. He peaked past the glass of the door to see a bunch of bored high school students, all incredibly eager to leave. Up front was a potbellied old man, with a bald spot and bulky black glasses teaching monotoned facts.
"Well, let's see what this thing can do." He thought before snapping a photo.
