Sarah stroked my cold metal bracelet with her fingers. Had I been able to shiver with delight, I would. On the inside, the part that sat flush with her wrist, was smooth while outside was more rough but styled.
"I could wear you myself," Sarah thought out loud, "but I think belonging to someone else would be much more exciting for you: someone who doesn't know who you really are. I'm a bit short of cash, but I need a birthday present for my mum... Guess where you come in?!" Sarah giggled. "I know you've always fancied her, so now you get to spend some one on one time with her." Sarah carried me through to the bedroom and routed in a draw before pulling out a presentation box for a watch. She opened the box and pulled out a cushion. She placed em on the cushion and fastened my clasp. She then put me back in the box and shut the lid. My world descended into darkness as I waited to be used. It seemed I was going to have to endure this life with her mother for the next 30 days.
It was two days later when the lid was opened. I saw Sarah's mum, Natasha staring down at me.
"Oh Sarah, it's beautiful, thank you," Natasha said, pulling me out of the box. She took me of the cushion and placed me on her slim wrists. My senses went into overdrive as she closed the clasp. As I had done with Sarah, I hung loose around her wrist, but her mother didn't remove me. She just left me dangling like a bracelet as they sat in a restaurant and ate their meal. All the while I slid up and down her wrist and bumped on the table every time she lowered her arm. Finally Sarah's parents and 18 year old sister, Claire headed home.
Once at home Natasha removed me from her wrist and set me down on the kitchen counter.
"Please can you get that adjusted tomorrow?" she asked Sarah's dad, Paul as they headed off to bed.
