"Wait Fukushu is attacking the kids," Kellie said nervously. The reaper could only nod, the spirit of Aiyo by his side. "Cant you stop him!"
Lilith could only grit her teeth, it appeared the Shinigami before her was not under her sway. "This reaper exists on another plane of hell than I," she grumbled. "I am only the queen of demons. This creature shall only respond to death."
"Okay enough of this," Circe bellowed, a look of annoyance on her face. The group now watched as she marched forward glaring at Aiyo and the reaper. "I want to speak with your supervisor NOW!"
"Supervisor," Kellie thought, obviously confused.
"I do not know what you speak of," the reaper sighed. "Death has no master."
"Oh really," Circe smirked. "I beg to differ. Uncle Hades!"
Kellie and the others now watched in stunned silence as the ground split before them. Slowly a creature began to emerge, a dark, foreboding looking man with long dark hair and grayish skin. As the man now looked over the group Circe smiled up at the God of Death.
"What is it Circe," Hades sighed. "I'm rather busy at work right now."
"Wait how us that even possible," Mika exclaimed. "Hades is the Greek god of death."
"He is only known as Hades in Greek culture," Baba Yaga stated. "In other cultures his name differs. Regardless of what he is known as he is the true God of the dead."
Kellie could only gawk, stunned to behold what lay in front of her. A grim reaper now stood before a demi goddess, a demon witch, a kitsune spirit, and the embodiment of the god of death. "And I thought things were surreal before."
"Uncle," Circe said sweetly. "Your employee here is preventing us from passing."
Hades sighed, rubbing his eyes as he squinted from the sun. "Well he did enter a contract with the kitsune," he shrugged. "Not sure what I can do,"
"They took my son," Jack said. "A child that would be the nephew of Circe."
Hades frowned turning towards the reaper that appeared to shrink back slightly. "You helped kidnap a demigod," Hades said angrily. "A demigod that has a connection to me!"
"Well technically I didn't kidnap the child," the reaper said sheepishly, causing Hades eyes to glow with a sickening green light. Turning towards his niece once more he sighed. "Give me a moment to sort this out."
As Kellie now watched Hades berate the reaper, she could only turn to her friends a look of concern on her face. "We might be able to sort this out but we have bigger problems," she said. "Evryone back at the hotel is in danger. We're going to need to help."
"You are right," Meelin said stoically. "And we will need assistance. Your daughters friends will need to be informed. I can transport some of us to their location and take us to the hotel."
"Dumb question but why couldn't we just teleport to Fukushus location," Mary Elise asked.
"Aside from not knowing Fukushus exact location their are far to many charms and magical traps in front us," Merlin stated. "Transporting ourselves forward would be like jumping into a minefield. Traveling back the way we came is far easier and safer."
"But isnt it a bad idea to split up," teen Katie asked. "I mean we would be weakening ourselves."
"I dont see any other way," Baba shrugged. "Hades will most likely be able to let us pass but the attack on the hotel will make all our actions moot. Do you truely wish to sacrifice the lives of those at the hotel for the life of this child?"
Kellie sighed, she was in an impossible situation. If they did not act the people at the hotel would most likely die. However, if they split up would they be able to reach her son in time? Regardless time was running out, she needed to make a choice.
