Fukushu smirked as he glanced at the pocket watch. "Five minutes," he smirked.
He had stalled them long enough, between the battle at the hotel, Aiyo's desperate attempt to prove her worth, and Aiko and Isaos attack he was within sight of his goal.
"Hey asshole!"
Fukuahu turned, slightly annoyed to see a young Asian woman standing before him. "Mika," he asked. "You dare address your older brother in such a manner?"
"Wrong Mika," she smirked. "Now you giving up the child or not?"
*****************************
The reaper looked suddenly at Hades, before glancing up the mountain. "It appears our contract is null," he whispered. "My contract with this spirit is over."
"Aiyo can go free," teen Mika asked in awe. "How?"
Kellie felt the color drain from her face, the only way the contract could be terminated was if someone reached Fukushu. It appeared the others had accomplished that. "We have to go NOW," she yelled as she sprinted forward.
Kellie and Jack sprinted forward, their lungs burning as they understood was what at stake. Their son and their daughter were now at risk. Katie, Gloria, and the others must have reached Fukushu. Outpacing the others they now skidded to a stop as they stared at the kitsune. "I was wondering when you would show up," Fukuahu grinned.
Kellie scanned the area, her throat tightening as she saw no sign of the other group or her son. "Where are they," she bellowed. Fukushu grinned, glancing down at his pocket watch once more. Three minutes to go.
"They're unharmed," he stated. "Busy, but unharmed. You however shall not have that luxury." Fukushu growled sending a spell rocketing towards Kellie and Jack.
The two teens kept out of the way, the ground cracking into pieces as Fukuahu's impacted. Jack's eyes now glowed blood red as he stepped forward. "I'm going to crush you," he snarled. "And throw you into the wind."
Fukuahu laughed softly, taunting the teenage warlock as he launched a spell at the eight tailed kitsune. Fukushu deftly dodged the incoming attack as it impacted, the spell causing the ground to compact upon itself as if stuck in a gravity well.
"Two minutes," Fukuahu thought as he now launched a counter spell. "Let them think they have won and escape. They can not get to the child until the time passes."
Kellie screamed, launching a blast a Fukushu who dodged once more. Countering the spell Kellie could see the blast impact behind her, the heat of it warming her skin. Running she dove for cover, now looking at Jack. "Hey," she yelled. "Were going to have to work together to stop this guy."
The impact of another spell caused the two teens to duck down. Jack looking at his estranged lover before nodding in agreement. "Okay we hit him together than break in the opposite direction."
Kellie nodded as her and Jack stood, launching a powerful spell that stunned Fukushu. The eight tailed kitsune growled, leveling a blast once more at the teenage mages who now broke in opposite directions.
90 seconds.
Fukushu was counting down now, he was so close to accomplishing his goal. Seeing the two teenagers run in opposite directions he shook his head. "Amateurs," he grumbled. Releasing his shadow magic he watched as they raced towards the two teens.
Kellie and Jack had been expecting this, they had studied enough kitsune magic to know of their capabilities. The shadows connected with Kellie and Jack, sucking them in. Fukushu could only grin as two statues now stood where Jack and Kellie once were.
"Your tactics are pathetic," Fukushu sighed. "I fail to see why Villar fears you."
"We'll ask him when we see him."
Fukushu's eyes went wide as he spun around to see Kellie and Jack behind him.
"How?"
"Thats our secret," Kellie grinned as the two teens released a point blank blast at Fukushu. The eight tails thrown backwards and slamming into the mountainside. "Now Jack," Kellie bellowed. Fukushu watched as Jacka eyes glowed red. In one fluid motion the warlock now summoned forth hands from the underworld, securing Fukuahu to the ground.
Jack and Kellie sighed as they now stared down at Fukushu. The two teens had gotten lucky, useing trickery to best a powerful enemy. All they needed to do now was save their son.
