Jeffara sunk back into her resting position, checking back into her dual sets of memories, remembering the terrifying experience of being kidnapped from her chambers, and the absolute frustration of having the terrible luck of being stuck as a defenseless and useless princess. Closing her eyes, Jeffara resigned herself to playing passive and waiting for something to happen.
Time passed, how much Jeffara did not know, but eventually the princess heard a commotion outside her cell's door. Lifting her head, Jeffara saw several flashes of light, and then heard a wet thud and footsteps and jangling metal. The lock on her cell unlocked, and Jeffara saw as her fiance Prince Theodred stood in the doorway, his armour bloodstained. Complete admiration and love filled Jeffara's mind as Theodred rushed over to her, and unlocked her shackles with a set of bloody keys. Jeffara's arms dropped weakly to her sides, and the princess was picked up by her lover. For the first time, Jeffara realized how small and petite her body was, as Theodred effortlessly cradled the princess in his arms. The prince kissed Jeffara's forehead, causing the girl to blush, and then rushed out of the castle and leapt onto his horse, setting Jeffara onto the back of the saddle. As the mount began to gallop onwards, Jeffara wrapped her arms around Theodred's torso, leaning her head against his back. And then...
