Dylan pulled up the elephant trunk complete with tusks. “Guess I gotta go with a classic.” Dylan chuckled. The nose was quite longer than he thought, stretching an impressive two in a half feet. Even feeling the tusks made him think they came from a real elephant. “Alright. Let’s see how it fits.” Dylan said pulling up to his mirror. He played the trunk on his face where it’d be most appropriate. It fit quite well despite the tusks in the way. It looked like it stretched to his upper lip.
“Okay, cool. Now all I need to do is find the- Ugh! Huh?” Dylan tried pulling the trunk off, but it appeared to be stuck on his face. “What the hell? Is there already glue on the thing?” Dylan tried pulling harder, but it only hurt him more, as if he were pulling his actual nose. As he reached down further to the trunk, he could feel it. He felt as if the trunk were actually apart of his face. “Wait... huh?” Dylan suddenly noticed the trunk started moving on its own. Not only that, but it was moving to his reaction and movement. When he got surprised, the trunk would lift itself upward. “This... this isn’t mine though...”
Dylan’s thoughts were cut short to him looking in the mirror. He was shocked to see the rough grey skin fusing into his face. The skin extended to his upper lip to make a new placement for the tusks. The skin was completely fused, smoothly transitioning from the rough grey skin to his pale human skin. Dylan started in bewilderment as he started moving the trunk on command. The trunk was his.
Dylan looked back at the box. “This thing... it’s... it’s magical?” His eyes went back to his new long nose. It was amazing. He could stretch it all the way to the back of his shoulders, and even blow it out like a trumpet. The sound of his new trunk amused him. Even the tusks had blended to his mouth, making them apart of his skull. “This is for real! How did I get lucky enough to get this?” Dylan didn’t know why he was enjoying the new addition to his face, but he didn’t want to ruin the moment. He was feeling adventurous, even experimental.
Dylan was wondering if he’d try something else.
