Miss Warren quietened down the class and placed the two clay like figures she had purchased the day before on the desk in front of her. She hoped they worked as well as the nice lady in the magic store had assured her they would. Clay figures that could be easily and quickly molded into any shape it's modeller desired, before automatically reforming into the shape of the human boy or girl it had originally come as a few minutes later, would be the perfect thing to keep her class engaged and spark their imaginations.
The pretty young brunette didn't really believe the clay was magic of course, that was a pretty standard marketing ploy. But something about the store's owner had made her feel instantly, inexplicably trustful that the product would work as discussed.
"Okay class, today you will be modelling clay into whatever it is you would like" Miss Warren instructed the assembled group of seven and eight year olds "It can be absolutely anything you can imagine! Now, who is going to go first?"

Nicola and James were stood in the park near their office, killing the last few moments of their lunch break time before heading back. They had all but forgotten their strange experiences in the magic shop the day before, along with the clay models the owner had attempted to charge them a kings ransom for.
"I really can't be bothered today" Nicola sighed "I've got nothing but meetings all afternoon"
"Better that than the amount of work I still have to get through by close of play" James countered.
Little did they know their day was about to take a very different, unbelievable turn.
