"... Reptile's Walk!"
Instantly, your mood turned sour. You loved Jen, you really did, but you just couldn't understand her love of reptiles. A normal girl would like bunnies, kittens, or ponies, yet Jen was anything but normal and honestly? You wouldn't have her any other way. You just wished you could understand why.
It only took a quick nod from you before the two of you were off. As luck would have it, there were a series of signs that pointed in the direction of everything and while they could look like a cluttered mess, they did give you a general idea of where to head. About half an hour of trekking across the island had finally paid off once in front of the large, wooden shack with the sign outside that read Reptile's Walk, obviously. Not so obvious was the fact that the building wasn't made of wood at all, only painted to give off the illusion from a distance. As you drew closer the entrance, it became clear that it was some sort of metal... but not that you could place just from a glance.
Near the door was a map along with several helpful- and slightly off putting- facts about what lay beyond. Jen, of course, excitedly pointed this out, "Hey, check this out! 'Reptile's Walk is a deeply immersive, interactive self guided tour of our lovely Swamp Biome which will bring you closer than ever to majestic lizards like never before! Stay on the trails to learn more about these creatures or explore the expanse for yourself! And don't worry, none of our staff bite unless you ask them too!' Ha, cute!"
"Not exactly the word I'd use for it," you offhandedly comment. And what did it mean with the staff part? Didn't say it was a self guided tour or something? You weren't stupid and knew a little more than the average Joe-Smho staying at Pleasure Island. The place was, for lack of a better term, 'magical' in nature. Things could happen here that shouldn't be possible and while if it said it was safe, you couldn't shake the feeling that something was just a little bit off...
"Come on, let's go!" Jen called back to you as she had already scanned her pass at the odd electronic door. Before you even give a rebuttal or suggest maybe doing something else, she was already inside and the door closed behind her. Well, it would appear you were stuck with this whether you liked it or not. With a slight sigh, you go up and scan your pass at the door...
