“Thanks...we will be in touch.”
“I’m sorry, we are looking for somebody with more experience.”
“I’m not sure you are the best fit for us right now.”
These were the words Terry Gibson kept hearing over and over again....
He was 23 and been out of college for about a year now. He graduated from university with a degree in business and was looking for some kind of entry level job to get himself started.
The problem was the current market and economy didn’t support this. Right now people like him were struggling all over to get good and reliable jobs.
One day however everything changed when a strange app appeared on his phone. It said it could change everything by just changing one word on a sentence...
“This thing is a joke.” He said playing around with it for a minute. All it seemed to do is show a generic sentence of whatever image it captured.
Terry had one more interview today. It was for a secretary job at a large law firm in town. While not his ideal job it would at least be a decent starting point.
Terry arrived on time, was dressed sharp in a nice suit and had his interview with one of the law partners. A guy named James Forester. He was the son of one of the founders and obviously the young hot shot type that had everything handed to him his whole life.
“Well you have all the right skills and qualifications...I’m just not sure you are exactly the right fit for the job.” James said looking over the application.
Terry had heard this a million times before. He was already prepared for another rejection.
“Let me talk this over with my colleagues, I will be right back.” James said as he got up and left the office.
Terry watched as James went into the office next door and began talking with another guy in an office nearby. The glass windows and doors made it easy to see them, he just couldn’t hear what they were saying.
Maybe because he was bored, Terry picked up his phone and opened the new app as he held it over the two men talking and and hit the button.
“Two Businessmen discuss their not ideal candidate in the other room.”
“Wow...I wonder if I could actually change this?” Terry asked himself as he decided to change...
