Jake quickly closed his laptop before Leon discovered what he was doing while walking in. "Oh, hey Jake. You just get back too? I thought you'd be at the cafeteria by now." Jake would have been eating dinner at this time. "Well... I was. I got caught up in something." Jake tried lying about his plans. "Well, I'm ordering takeout if you want Chinese. I'll even buy for ya." Jake was confused. Why wasn't Leon changing? What even was supposed to happen. "Uh... You really don't have to-" Leon interrupted Jake mid sentence. "Don't worry about it. I still owe you for scaring the crap out of Joey. That nutcase had it on me for years." Jake never even really interacted with Joey. He figured the Chronivac made that memory up.
"Anyway, where's my phone? I'll call Xi Palace." Leon discovered his smartphone on the kitchen counter. He walked over to pick it up. "So what was that number? Where's the phone- Woah!" Leon suddenly tripped on a cress in the rug as his phone went flying, knocking Jake on his tail in the process. All the sudden, Leon reached out and grabbed his phone in the palm of his hand. " Whew, that was close. Thank God for my... Flexibility?" Leon saw that his arm had stretched a good 6 feet out to catch his phone. No more than a moment it decided to slingshot back to his head, causing his neck to stretch back until he saw everything behind him while upside down. Leon looked around with his neck dangling his head against his back.
Jake was in absolute shock as Leon turned his back to look at him with a surprised expression. "Okay. I know what you're thinking, but this is new to me too." Leon said, trying to fix his neck. He alined his head back on his neck and shoulders. "Ah. That's better. Now then..." Leon was about to comment when a fly landed on his nose. "What? What are you doing here? It ain't summer yet!" Leon grasped his nose to catch the fly. Unfortunately, the fly evaded and it flew off. Leon, still thinking the fly was still there, pulled on his nose as it stretched out like chewed gum. "What the!?" Leon said slightly congested before his skin tightening once again and his nose slapped back to his face. His nose stayed droopy and his ears had popped out flapping, making Leon resemble somewhat an elephant.
Jake snuck away to his computer to see what the Chronivac did to Leon while he was busy experimenting. Quietly opening his laptop, Jake read in Leon's profile that his skin was now stretchy and elastic. He turned to Leon, reshaping his nose back to its original shape.
