Laura toddles around the party, trying to find a way out. Unfortunately, word has spread that she “tried to escape” before, and she finds parents watching her every move. She’s about to give up hope when the cake is brought out. All eyes turn to the birthday boy and the guests begin to sing. Laura quietly leaves without anyone noticing.
Her luck continues as she gets back to the bike she rode here. No one sees her grab it or even ride it back to her brother’s house. The pedals are more difficult to work, as the thick diaper she’s wearing puts her an inch or two above the seat. But she successfully arrives at her brother’s house without any further incidents.
Laura walks into the house, relieved, and decides to never go to the park again. At least, not that specific park. She quickly goes to her niece’s room to remove her toddler clothing and put something on that better suits her actual current age. Just as she pulls off the legwarmers, she hears a car pull up to the house. Her brother has come home early!
Panicking, Laura abandons the idea of changing her clothes. She rushes to the safe, grabs the dice, and decides to go out the open window in her niece’s room. Just as she’s about to climb out, she hears a voice.
“Daddy, there’s a baby in my room!” Laura recognizes the voice. It’s the same niece whose clothes she borrowed earlier, Alexis.
“There’s a what?” Footsteps rush towards the room. Before she can move any closer to freedom, Laura feels herself lifted into the air. The person then turns her around. Laura is now face-to-face with Dan, who is usually her younger brother, but right now, is much, much older.
