Well, maybe if Bill was younger, his lawyer would be more willing to change him. Bill replaced “adult’s” with “child’s”. The room spun around him. When it stopped spinning, everything was much larger. Bill looked down at himself. He appeared to be about four or five. Younger than his lawyer now was.
“I’m not changing your diaper, Billy,” his lawyer said. “Go ask mom. I need to talk to my client.” With that, Bill’s former lawyer stomped away.
“Did someone make a stinky?” a woman’s voice cooed. Bill felt himself being picked up. “Let’s get you all changed!” Bill was carried by the woman over to a changing mat laid out on the floor of the courtroom. He tried to struggle free, but all he succeeded in doing was losing the phone. It flew out of his hands and landed somewhere Bill couldn’t see.
Unable to stop what was happening, Bill caved in and allowed the woman to lay him down and change his diaper. When she finished, the woman pulled Bill to his feet and beamed at him.
“What a good boy you were today! Staying quiet while your big brother helped that nice mommy win custody. I need to go talk to the nice mommy about payment. You can wander around if you want, but don’t leave the room. Okay?” Bill nodded silently. “Okay!”
The woman left Bill and walked over to his ex-wife. Bill knew what he had to do to get out of the situation. He had to get his phone back. But would he be able to find it?
