William was his new father. If he was instead about to be changed by his mother, then Sarah would be within range. Bill was eager to get out of the situation, but he was also eager to screw over his ex-wife if possible. He replaced “father” with “mother”.
To his disappointment, William was not replaced with Sarah. Rather, Bill now held the hand of a female version of William. The new William ushered Bill into the women’s bathroom.
“Be good to Mommy Wilma, okay?” she asked. Wilma lifted Bill onto the changing table, took off his pants and messy boxers, and began to wipe him down, all the while muttering to herself. “Of course Sarah took the two kids that I gave birth to, and I wound up with the screw-up she carried.” Bill’s eyes widened. It seemed that Sarah and Wilma were now a lesbian couple who had traded off on who was impregnated by a sperm donor.
“And all done!” Wilma said, taping a diaper onto Bill. He looked down, then up. “What?”
“I don’t need a diaper.”
“You still aren’t potty trained. You just pooped your pants. You’re wearing a diaper. And where did you get that phone?” Before Bill could do anything else, Wilma took the phone from him. She set him on the ground. “Come on, I have to drop you off at daycare before I go back to work.”
“Not school?” Bill asked. He didn’t want to be in school, but he’d prefer it over daycare. Wilma laughed.
“Oh, honey, no school is going to want to deal with your issues. Don’t worry, your tutors will teach you just as well as some public school teacher.” Wilma grabbed Bill’s hand and pulled him out of the bathroom, down the hall, outside, and then to a car. She buckled him into a car seat and drove off.
Billy was already wet again by the time Wilma had dropped him off at daycare, which she expected. The boy had zero control. Wilma got back into her car. She had a few minutes before she had to head to work, so she took out the phone that Billy was playing with earlier. It seemed like it was some sort of app game. Curious, she generated a new sentence.
It read “The plain woman has just dropped her immature son off at daycare.”
