Without warning, the Chronivac began to activate which didn't leave much time for Sherry to react to the oncoming changes. With the malfunctioning Chronivac, the awareness box was temporarily switched off meaning Sherry wouldn't realise anything was wrong after the Chronivac was finished.
Sherry didn't really feel any different though. As she was unaware reality was changing, she was more preoccupied with what the message read.
The Chronivac didn't take long to finish whatever it was doing and Sherry could now use it. Unfortunately for Sherry though is that she had been affected by the Chronivac.
