The first reflection, a world practically parallel to the Provenance; save for one aspect that served in it's ultimate demise.
With the god of darkness sealed away, did his absence result in the manifestation of a primal being born of the light; Lordethia. Swallowing Ithulmia in a blinding radiance so similar to that of the god of light yet all the deadlier, was the very concept of darkness obliterated.
Settling in the hallowed tower serving as the seal of the dark god, did the primordial manifestation of light take control of the Corruption. From the Monolith of Enlightenment, did light rain from the heavens.
Purified by its feral radiance, was a new form of Corruption born. Twisted by it's light, those graced by Lordethia's presence transformed into angelic beasts; Sinbearers, who sought to purify all deemed imperfect.
Consumed by a light they once revered, was Ithulmia no more. And with what little land remaining outside the crumbling region swallowed by a smoldering flood of primordial light, did the people then realize how grave their mistake had been.
This world flooded with light, no more than a withering continent, would be known as Aetheria. A world where the sky was an eternal gold with a constantly shimmering sun, inhabited by those yearning to gaze upon a sea of stars upon a black void of tranquility as their ancestors once had.
In recent times, there have been hushed exchanges amongst the dwindling commonfolk of a mysterious cave at the far south of Aetheria said to house crystalized fragments of dark essence. Sought by those wishing to bring an end to Lordethia's reign over the land, travelers who have attempted to reach the caverns have only met a brutal death at the hands of the Sinbearers.
The future of this dwindling world, it rests on the shoulders of one who will manage to reach the depths of this cavern and harvest this dark power to gain strength; the power to restore the night.
And the one who has managed to brave past the legion of Sinbearers inhabiting the vast plains before this cavern, all so that the deaths of their comrades would not be in vain, would be...
