There was a knock on the door, startling Edwin out of admiring himself in the mirror. That's not Dawn, she wouldn't knock. He quickly grabbed a towel and wrapped it around his waist. God, were the towels here small or was he really just that much bigger. Even wrapped around him the bottom of the towel parted a bit, so he made sure that part was off to the side as he went to answer the door.
On the other side of the door was a hotel bellhop, probably in his early twenties, who went wide-eyed at the sight of Edwin, but quickly regained his composure and held out a pair of shopping bags. "Your sister asked the desk to send up your new clothing allotment."
"Clothing allotment?" Edwin asked as he took the bags. They were pretty full, and he peaked inside one, seeing some neatly folded fabric inside.
"Because of the transformation, sir, can't have guest wandering around naked, well, except on the adult only nude beach, but, anyway the hotel provides clothing if the guest's own outfits no longer fit. Normally you just order from your control pad but your sister made your selections for today..." The bellhop continued to stand there expectantly, and Edwin took a moment to figure out what he wanted. Dipping back into his hotel room he pulled a couple of small bills from his wallet and handed them to the bellhop. "Thank you, sir. Have a nice day."
Sir.. Edwin shook his head as he closed the door. He had never been called sir before, it felt weird, but good. Dawn must have gotten distracted if she wasn't coming back herself, so Edwin dumped out the bags on the bed. Shorts, Hawaiian shirts, tank tops, sandals, even a swimsuit, and of course underwear. It was enough for a couple of days in his current body, and all looked to be his size. Either Dawn was good at judging clothing sizes, or the hotel had more information on his transformation than he was comfortable with.
He pulled on a pair of underwear and shorts, then the more subdued of the two shirts. Definitely Dawn's picks, subdued was still bright blue with palm trees. He buttoned it up and looked in the mirror. After a moment he unbuttoned a few of the top buttons, exposing the hairy cleavage between his pectorals, then after another few seconds of thought unbuttoned the shirt completely, letting it expose the front of his furry torso. It was a summer tropical resort, after all, he'd seen men walking around with no shirts. Sandals and a pair of sunglasses completed his look.
Damn, even he had to admit he looked good. Mature but still in his prime. Shifting his sunglasses to the top of his head he grabbed up the tablet and pulled up the map of the resort, trying to figure out how to spend the day. There were the beaches, three of them.. the family beach, the adults only beach, and the adults only nude beach. He had to wonder if he could get into the adults only section. Sure his body was 30 but he was still 16, if he could that would be a great place to hide from Dawn, and suddenly the bar seemed a tempting option for later, too.
There was the kids entertainment zone, which had a small waterpark, arcades.. It was an option, but he didn't seem to find it as appealing as he once might have. There was a spa zone, which apparently offered minor transformation adjustments as well as the normal services. The pool, the bar, the animal park (no doubt for those in the animal wing to which it was closest), there were tons of possibilities. Edwin set the tablet aside and decided to just wander, seeing where his feet would take him. As long as he didn't think about it, those big flippers of feet didn't give him too much trouble.
Heading into the central lobby area of the hotel, he took a moment to admire the indoor water fountains and giant glass walls and ceiling which gave a great view of the tropical environment. Then a familiar voice cut into his thoughts, he looked over to see..
