Edwin could see Dawn chatting with a boy. He couldn’t tell much about the kid, but then he and Dawn started off for the arcade. Edwin smiled a bit: was his sister going to develop a vacation crush?
Just then, he caught a glimpse of a sign for a gym here at the resort. Maybe he’d give that a try. He might even pick up a girl or two. Edwin smiled at the thought as he headed off to find it.
5 minutes earlier...
Dawn left her brother’s room, smirking at what she’d done to him. It wasn’t bad or anything, Edwin seemed to enjoy being a 30-year-old god. But he did need some clothes.
She stepped up to the counter and requested some clothes for her brother. She grinned as she saw Hawaiian shirts in there, Edwin always hated those.
As she turned to leave, she bumped into someone, and she fell to the floor.
“Oh my God, are you ok?” she heard a voice ask.
“I’m ok,” Dawn said, accepting the person’s hand to get to her feet. Then she looked at them and her breath caught.
It was a boy who looked about 15 years old, a year older than her. He was incredibly handsome, she thought he might be a model. His glossy black hair hung down slightly into his chiseled face, blue eyes looking straight inside her it seemed. He was decently muscular and very strong, he’d had no trouble pulling her up. He wore a sky blue polo with the buttons undone and tight khaki shorts.
“I’m so sorry about that,” he said, face flushed with embarrassment.
“I-I’m Dawn,” Dawn said with a stutter.
The boy smiled, relaxing. “I’m Steven,” he said. “I guess I’m not used to walking around like this. I’m actually 10, but right now I’m 15.”
“I’m just 14,” Dawn said.
“You know, why don’t I try to make it up to you? Do you like the arcade?” Steven asked.
“Yeah, that sounds great!” Dawn replied.
The two of them headed off together, Dawn trying to hide a smile at her good fortune. She didn’t care if Steven was really 10, she was in love.
