Jen pulled the simple blouse over herself and buttoned it up, which was slightly more difficult with her pudgier stomach and bigger breasts. The high-wasted skirt fit snugly around her hips and covered her belly, which helped to hide her muffin-top. She couldn't help but smile at the cute nerdy girl reflected in the mirror.
Now she was almost ready for school, the best part of any day! Jen practically skipped downstairs to join her mother for breakfast. She thanked her mom politely for the jam and toast and offered to clean the dishes when they were done.
Then she noticed the time. "Mom, can I get a lift to school? I absolutely can't be late!"
"Absolutely, sweetheart. I'll drop you off on my way to work. Grab your bag and meet me outside."
Jen quickly made her way back to her room and grabbed her schoolbag, first checking to see if she'd packed all of her homework. Naturally, it was all there. She'd even finished her science class project early, it wasn't due for another week.
She skipped back down and hopped into the passenger seat of her mom's car. As they traveled, Jen found herself thinking about what had just happened to her. Kyle Perkins had cursed her with Transform or Dare, but she realized now that she had definitely deserved it after what she did to him. And now that past life seemed so distant, the new Jen would never behave in such a way.
Surely things were better this way. Jen didn't even feel like she had been cursed, all of this felt so normal.
When they arrived at the school's front gates, Jen kissed her mother goodbye and thanked her for the lift. She couldn't wait to get to class.
As she made her way through the crowds of students she spotted Kyle at his locker. Again, she thought of how he had used the curse on her, but she still wasn't sure how to feel about it. She also recalled that she now had the curse and could inflict it on any person of her choosing.
The idea of cursing someone now felt absolutely wrong to Jen. She wasn't even sure if she'd be confident enough to confront a potential target in the first place, now that she was so timid and shy. Perhaps she could find a way use the curse for good, or perhaps it would be best to just forget about it.
Kyle finished whatever he was doing and turned to face her.
"Jen?" He grinned. "Wow, I can't believe how well it worked!"
Jennifer blushed furiously, suddenly overtaken by social anxiety. How should she respond to this situation?
