Jen could barely even bring herself to look Kyle in the face, and fidgeted with her hands as she stammered out a confused apology. "I-I-I'm sorry and I um.. Th-Thank you for..."
Kyle grinned, seemingly delighted by Jen's change in attitude.
"W-well I... I need to get to class! Nice to see you!" Jen squeaked as she quickly hurried down the hallway to her first class of the day, Math.
During class, Jen felt much more confident. She was in her element here. She successfully answered every question she was asked and practically glowed with satisfaction when the teacher praised her. She helped a struggling male student by teaching him a useful trick she had learned and felt a delightful warm feeling inside when he seemed to understand. After class a girl rushed up to her and said "Thanks so much for helping me study for the test, Jen! I aced it thanks to your help!"
The chubby nerd could only look down at her shoes bashfully and mutter "It's no problem. I'm here to help."
During Home Economics class Jen made extra cupcakes and shared them with anyone she met during lunch break. Hearing the satisfaction in their voices filled her with glee.
It was then that she saw Kyle at his locker again.
It looked like he was being heckled by some other boys from his class. They exchanged a few harsh words and then went their own ways. Jen followed Kyle from a safe distance and watched as he sullenly sat behind a classroom and ate his lunch by himself. Kyle was clearly miserable. He didn't like anyone, and nobody liked him. He wasn't good in school and he seemed unable to make any friends.
Jen felt a pang of guilt. Her school life was wonderful and everyone loved her. She had never been so happy in her life and it was all thanks to the curse that Kyle...
...wait, the curse! She still had it, and she could use it to bless someone else's life as Kyle had blessed hers!
She marched towards Kyle with as much confidence as she could muster.
"U-um, Kyle?" she stuttered.
Kyle didn't look up. "What now?"
"Transform or dare?"
Kyle almost choked on the sandwich he was eating and spent a good 10 seconds coughing and spluttering.
Finally he composed himself and glared at Jen.
"What did you just say?"
"U-um, I said 'Transform or Dare' but, but don't worry!"
"Don't worry?" Kyle spat, "You're cursing me and you tell me not to worry?"
"I'm good now, remember? I promise I'm trying to help you here. Just say 'both'."
Kyle looked panicked and frustrated. Beads of sweat were forming on his forehead. Jen could only hope that he would see that she had good intentions. Kyle continued to squirm in silence, clearly unsure of what to do.
"Uh.. W-Well, that's a minute, so you get both. I promise it'll be good.
Firstly, you're going to become my best friend and I'll become yours! See, I'm using the curse for something nice!
Secondly, I'd like to give you the same 'curse' that you gave me. My life is so much better now and I want to share it with you!"
"Wait!" Kyle started to protest, but then stopped suddenly as he began to change.
His whole body shrunk down until he was a mere 5'4", still taller than Jen in her new form. His face took on a feminine shape as his hair grew long and blonde and gained significant volume. A pair of thick-framed glasses appeared on his face.
The changes moved down to his body next, starting with his clothes. His shirt became a feminine baby-doll tee with a graphic of a dragon encircling a large d20. His slacks became a pair of hip-hugging skinny jeans and his body slowly morphed to fit them. A pair of c-cup breasts pushed out of his narrower chest and his hips flared out until he had a distinctly curvy figure.
Jen watched as the bulge in the front of her friend's jeans receded until it was gone entirely, the crotch underneath now smooth and featureless. The transformation was now complete.
Kyle was now a distant memory. Instead, Jen saw her best friend Cecile. She was a bit taller and much skinnier than Jen, but they had so much in common. The two goody-two-shoes bookworms had been best friends for as long as they could remember, and they were practically inseparable.
"I saved a cupcake for you, Cecile." Jen smiled, presenting it to her bestie.
Cecile grinned and accepted. Today was looking to be another wonderful day.
