Emily held the photograph in her hand, deeply freaked out by what she was looking at. Instead of the infant girl that Rick had become, there was now a photo of a lone barbie doll lying on the pavement. Emily almost didn't want to look down, feeling that if she did it would almost guarantee that it was real. She peaked past the photo and saw the doll that had been Rick lying on the sidewalk.
Emily quickly snapped herself out fo the shock and picked up the doll.
"Oh my god Rick I'm sorry! Are you ok? Can you hear me?" She asked the toy.
Internally, Rick was trying to shout at Emily, trying to let her know he was there. He quickly found he could no longer move his mouth. In fact, he could no longer move anything. Try as he might he simply could not even wiggle a finger. Suddenly, he felt his body lift off of the ground, and he was greeted with Emily's massive face.
Rick was amazed. He had thought everything had looked big when he was a baby, but this was a whole different level! Emily looked as tall as a building! He tried to tell her how crazy everything looked, but was quickly reminded that he couldn't make a peep.
Emily stared at the doll, freaked out but a little curious. She thought it was a barbie doll from the photo, but it looked a bit different. The face of the doll looked a little like a feminine version of Rick's face, and the straight, plastic hair going to the doll's shoulders were red instead of blonde. The doll's felt outfit was even a girlier version of what Rick had been wearing before he turned into a baby.
"Sorry Rick, but at least you don't have to worry about anyone looking for you right?" She laughed awkwardly.
"Mom! Have you seen my Nanny Nicki doll?!" A little girl's voice suddenly rang from behind the house Emily stood in front of. "Ok, I may have spoken too soon." She sighed.
