Juliet rose when the rays of the sun tingled her nose. She stretched and let out a mighty yawn: “ YaaaaaHAWWW.....” She scratched her back before jumping down and saw what happened around the hotel.
The amusement park had opened again and the children were running around between the different rides. In the distance she could see the beach and some older teens using some water scooters.
Moving her view back to the hotel she saw a little donkey standing on the spot where the girl used to be the night before
“Stupid donkeys!” Juliet thought. “Hey buddy we are hitting the beach today!” She gave Clarisa, who had covered herself with her blanket a soft nudge before rummaging through the closet hoping to find some spare stuff for the beach.
After finding a brightly colored bikini, Juliet marched to the bathroom not before giving Clarisa another nudge; “Hey, Sleeping Beauty, wake up!” And closed the door.
Clarisa wasn’t ready to get up. She was having a good dream. She was in a pasture, grazing peacefully, without a care in the world. Turning back over, She slept on.
Juliet had taken a shower and rubbed herself dry before turning to the fogged mirror. She wiped away the condensed water.
“What the fuck...!” Her ears had doubled in size and were covered in dark gray fur. She hastily put on the shorts and stormed out the bathroom.
“Clarisa, Clarisa... something's definitely wrong with my ears!” She cried pointing at them. Clarisa slept on, in her dream there was a tasty dandelion! She bent down and munched on it. She let out a throaty bray in her bed and turned over again.
The strange sound Clarisa made from beneath her sheets made Juliet’s blood freeze. She slowly moved forward and with a mighty tug she removed Clarisa’s blanket;
“Holy mother of.....!” She cried when two enormous donkey ears sprang up from the sides of her friend’s head.
Clarisa stirred. “Juliet? What is it? Ready to have some more fun today?” She asked brightly, sitting up.
“What are you crazy! You have two enormous donkey ears on your head and all you can think of is fun?”
Clarisa shrugged. “It’s all that matters to me. I’m done thinking for three days. I don’t care what happens, I’m gonna enjoy this. You should too.”
Juliet looked at her flabbergasted as Clarisa took her clothes and vanished behind the bathroom door.
“What's going on here? She..she is turning into a donkey and doesn’t even wonder about it!” Juliet sat down on the bed not knowing what to think anymore.
Clarisa examined her huge donkey ears in the bathroom. “Are these...real?” She felt up and down their lengths. They were strong and flexible and she could feel the muscles twitch as she touched them.
“Oh my...they are real!” But instead of fear...she felt joy. She wondered how far this would go. A small part of her was scared that she suddenly had animal ears. But a larger part wanted this to go all the way.
She brushed her teeth and dressed, ready for more rule breaking today.
“Juliet, you ready? I wanna break some stuff today!” Clarisa said happily as she walked out of the bathroom.
