"Uniform?" Eleanor said, confused for a moment.
Megan looked equally confused, uncertain of why she said that. "I...never mind. Thanks for the lift," she said, as her sneakers turned into a pair of heels, beneath a dark colored skirt and white blouse.
Eleanor's hair began to darken a bit. "Not a problem...what are friend's for? Sorry we had to make a stop." She said as they headed toward a minivan. Sitting in the driver's seat was Eleanor's mom, Michelle....who was wearing a soccer uniform. "Mom, what are you doing in the driver's seat?"
Michelle looked a little confused. "I...what?"
"Get in the back..." she said.
The middle-aged woman looked confused, but obeyed. Eleanor got into the driver's seat, keys still in the ignition, adjusted her mirrors, put on her seatbelt, and waited for Megan to get into the passenger side. "I have the weirdest feeling," Megan said, reaching down and seeing a purse at her feet....where she'd left it?
Meanwhile, in the back seat, Michelle reached for her phone, and distractedly started browsing websites.
"I get those every so often," Eleanor said, growing a few inches and suddenly feeling more comfortable behind the wheel. "It's just a sign we're getting old."
"Old," Megan said, jokingly, wrinkles appearing around her eyes, "Who are you calling old?"
