"Old," Megan said, jokingly, wrinkles appearing around her eyes, "Who are you calling old?"
"Well, you are older than I am," her friend said, pulling out of the spot.
"Micky," Eleanor called. "Did you buckle your seatbelt?"
"Yes," she said, distractedly before glancing up. Did she just get called Micky?
The two girls in the front seat...you couldn't call them girls anymore....not when they were closing in on their thirties fast with no signs of stopping. "I'm not sure if it is too soon to start dating again," Megan commented.
"What do you mean?" Eleanor said. "How long has it been?"
The other suddenly woman frowned. "Well....to be honest, I can't remember..."
Michelle looked up again. "What are you two talking about? Dating..."
"You'll understand when you're a bit older, dear," Eleanor said.
