Luna puts the note back in her bag as she and three other individuals set in the waiting room. In the group partaking in the test is Luna, Chloe, Bryce, and Mason. All field scientists who are more than capable of handling themselves when it comes to touch situations. Luna, an archaeologist had set her interest in this experiment because of the oprotunity to learn more of dinosaurs and other creatures that existed thousands of years ago. Chloe was more interested in how the human body would adapt to a change in ones physical body, hence becoming a raptor would offer valuable research. Bryce came aboard to study brain functions of prehistoric life. What sets off certain emotions, actions, anything of the sort. And finally, Mason would learn about the civil life. Daily patterns, eating habits, and others come to mind.
"So what exactly was all that physical training for? It's not like we're using our human bodies for this right?" Mason asked the group. "Technically we are using our human bodies for metamorphosis. The training was to see if our bodies will adapt well to physical changes." Luna explained. "Remember, this machine is experimental. I wonder if it's true if these techs say there is 'little chance of harm'. But I suppose I should judge being the expert in that field." Chloe went back to her book on human anatomy. "Right, well what about our mental state? Predatory instincts could kick in as we change." Mason question. The four looked at each other before Luna spoke up. "Than whatever happens after that happens. It's not the most bright thought, but no one will wanna pick a fight with you while your a raging dinosaur." She joked.
Suddenly, the mechanical doors started sliding open revealing the top scientists of the facility. "Greetings. I hope you all find meaning in this experiment. Our gratitude once again for partaking in the experiment as well. Follow me and we will make our way to the metamorphosis pods." The two scientists turned to lead the four to the next room. They all nosed at each other and followed.
The four were placed in restraint pods with body suits, ready for whatever is to come. "I apologise for the restraints. Best not to have anybody move durring the transformation. Would want any of you getting any physical disfunctions." The top scientists explained. "Do what you have to do." Mason said though his pod. "Now is the time. Before we perform the metamorphosis, do any of you wish to back out? Theres a small chance you lose your mental state. Even if you remain the same mentally, we might not be able to transform you back to human." All four boxes when asked once at a time. "We're already this far. Might as well go through with it." Chloe said though her pod. "Very well." The scientist typed in some coding and began the transformation process.
