Luna's pod went dark as shocks started tingling through her body. She could feel something changing. Her nose and mouth seemed to be pushing out with her nostrils spreading apart. Slowly her skin started to morph into light green scales. Luna stretched in pain as her extended mouth opened to reveal her teeth sharpening and her tongue thinking and splitting at the tip.
Dark green scales covers Bryce's whole face and spread down to his chest. His five fingers merged into three, while his nails turned black and thickened into sharp claws. Bryce clenched his claws into a fist as the scales traveled further down to his chest. He closed his eyes tight, and opened them to reveal them golden with black spots.
Mason looked in his new reptilian eyes that the blue scales spread down to his legs. His bare feet started expanding with his toes merging to three toed talons. Just like his hands, his toenails blackened and thickened into large claws, in which he wiggled around.
Once the red scales spread all over her body, Chloe's legs shifted to become more digigraded. Chloe felt something push out against her lower back only to assume was the part she lacked from humans to animals. The hole in the lower back of her body suit was being filled with an extension of her spine. Chloe screetched in pain as her new tail twitching uncontrollably.
As the scientist heard noises from the pod that resemble reptiles, he had to assume the process was going as smooth as it could have. He found the progress of each subject so n the screen completely changed, as their DNA codes showed. "I think we've finally done it!" The scientist said lifting the pod covers to view the changes. What showed in front of him we're not the same humans that had been put to restraints, but full grown bipedal reptiles in body suits taking their place. "Magnificent! We have mastered human metamorphosis!" The scientist exclaimed.
The four subjects opened their golden eyes to find themselves still in restraint, but there bodies felt unnatural. "Hello in there? Are all of you still there? I don't want to release wild raptors among the facility." All four nodded one at a time. "Good. I've taken the liberty of seeding this up so.you would be able to see your new bodies." The scientist pressed a button to release everyone from their restraints, and mirrors from each pod emerged from the floor.
Chloe was by far most impressed with the changes. Every feeling she got from her snout to the tip of her tail felt unreal. She smiled smugly as some features of her human form stayed such as her hair. Luna differed from the others being one of the raptors with feathering running across there backs and on the tip of their tails. Luna sported green scales with a black stripes running from her upper back to the tip of her tail. Bryce's form was a full coat of dark green scales, with him being amount the two with feathers. Finally, Mason was the only raptor that sported some sort of fins around his neck and on the side of his head. He also had somewhat of a fin that developed off the tip of his tail.
The scientist lifted the pods and approached all four. "Now for the next test. Do you like your new looks?"
