While everything that happened was quite interesting to Jake, he still had yet to test his t-rex jaws. He did it more or less for looks, but he still had to see how they worked in action. He knew about a sub shop not too far and decided a lengthy sandwich might be a proper test.
Though Jake changed reality, he was still a bit nervous to go out into public looking like a dinosaur. But as long as no one bared any mind, he was alright. A few minutes and he arrived at the sub shop. The place was packed with people as usual, which Jake thought deviously would be a nice selection of people to change. Might as well have fun with the Chronivac during your meal.
One long wait in line later and Jake finally got his sandwich. As hungry as a t-rex he opened wide and chomped down a huge portion of the sandwich. "Huh. It tastes better than I remember." Jake said chewing his food. He found himself swallowing a huge chunk of food without realizing how big it was. He nearly choked out the food but managed to digest. "*Cough* I need to get a bigger throat." Jake said coughing out a bit.
Jake finished his sandwich with smaller bites than what he took in the first place. He had no idea it would be hard to swallow that much food, never mind trying to keep his fingers from getting caught in his teeth. Thankfully this filled Jake, knowing his stomach was still the same size. He wouldn't be able to afford a t-rex sized diet if he tried.
Jake was relieved of hunger, but now was the time to get more use out of the Chronivac. He pulled his laptop from his bag and started thinking. First he changed his throat so that he could accommodate the big amount of food he ate. No visible changes, but he felt it from the inside. At least now he didn't have to worry about choking himself to death. Jake looked into the crowd of people wondering who to target.
