Jenny wakes up groggy the next morning. Still half asleep, she wanders to the bathroom in the dark. It isn't until she catches sight of her smeared face paint in the mirror, Jenny remembers the full events of the day before. If her face were clean it would be extremely blushed. Did she really get that deep into character?
Jenny flips on the lights in "her" room and sees she was sleeping in the former guest room. She marvels at how complete the transformation had been in here.
The sizable bed had been replaced with a much smaller one draped in shiny curtains. That explains why she didn't take a hard tumble to the floor getting out earlier. Other furniture items include; a white dresser and bedside table, a small wardrobe entirely filled with various costume items, a fully stocked child-proportioned vanity, and bookshelves with a large collection of short, large text books.
Beyond that, the white walls have large butterfly decals imprinted and toys seem to be scattered everywhere. A tea set on the table, a doll house in the corner, her dragon stuffed animal from the fair is sitting amongst many other plush creatures on the bed, and that's just what an initial glance shows.
She wanders the house, seeing what other adjustments were made. There isn't as much to see but belongings for a child resident can be found in almost every room. A movie rack stocked with animated films was added next to her entertainment center, step stools are tucked by every counter top, kitchen cabinets now have plastic plates or cups featuring all sorts of different characters mixed in with the more formal dining sets.
Jenny is so overwhelmed by the massive number of minor details that were covered that she decides to take a long bath to clear her head. She doesn't think about it as she naturally returns to the child bedroom bathroom not the master bathroom. After filling the bath, she does ignore the desire to pour some conveniently located bubble soap in the water.
First, she takes a wash cloth and diligently whipes her face clean. Once her reflection is clear of marks, she settles in for a relaxing soak. As she does she tries to mentally sort through her thoughts. She's concerned about how easily the childish nature has been asserting itself. Then again she does always know she's a grown up, so maybe she's just being overly sensitive. No real conclusion is reached before Jenny decides to drain the bath and get to the rest of the day.
