Morgan held her breath, lovingly gazing into Merlins eyes. Merlin was still on the older side, looking more like a world wizened college professor than anything else. Entwining her fingers in his salt and pepper hair she now pulled him closer.
"What in the cousin loving hell is going on here?!"
Morgan paused, looking behind Merlin. A look of shock and annoyance crossing her face as she gazed at the Auburn haired woman and her apprentice. "Lynne what are you doing here?"
"Stopping a Greek tragedy for one," Lynne grumbled. "You do realize hes like your great grandfather right?"
"No hes not," Morgan countered, her cheeks blushing.
"Hes Kellie Pendragons dad, who is the mom of Katie, who is your mom," Lynne countered. "I know biology was never my best subject but even I can figure this out."
Morgan grunted in annoyance as she now approaches Lynne. "So what brings you here," Morgan grumbled. "You know besides wanting to make fun of me."
Lynne grinned, hugging her niece before pointing to Anjelica. "Well this ones mom found out about our little trip," she said. "Needless to say both our moms arent real happy right now."
Morgan squirmed slightly as she now looked between Anjelica and Lynne. "Were going to get an earful when we get back huh?"
"Oh absolutely," Lynne exclaimed. "Plus I'm pretty sure Tom is going to chew me out too. He wasnt exactly thrilled to watch the boys, we were supposed to go out for my birthday."
Lynne now gazed at the youthful Merlin before smirking. "What is it with you and guys that look like college professors?"
"I'm attracted to brains not brawn Lynne Harris," Morgan countered.
"I'll make sure I tell Tom you think hes stupid when we get back," Lynne chuckled. Looking past Morgan she could now see Villar slowly approaching, a furious look on his face. "So is that him?"
"Yeah," Morgan stated. "Hes alot stronger than when we faced him."
"Technically he was a ghost when we faced him," Lynne said. "So did you use your puppy powers on him?"
"Seriously," Morgan said tersely, giving Lynne an annoyed look.
"Sorry," Lynne replied sheepishly, a small grin on her face. "You do realize this is an awful idea. Fighting him like this. We could seriously alter the future."
"Its no worse than any of the decisions we made in college," Morgan grinned. "And we came out of those okay."
Lynne chuckled softly, shaking her head as she now turned back towards Lilith and Merlin. "Angelica," she said. "Need you to get Lilith and Merlin to safety."
"With all due respect," Merlin countered. "But I can quite easily stop Villar."
"I know you can Merlin," Lynne said. "You did before the only problem was Fukushu and Abolith. Fukushu attacked your daughter and Abolith stabbed you in the back while you were distracted. After that you were easy pickings for Villar."
Merlin paused as he now learned of his fate. The fact Lynne had shared this now meant that the future was now changing once more. The only question was how much. "So what do you intend to do," he asked.
"I guess me and Morgan are going to fight in your place," Lynne shrugged.
"Wouldnt be the first time we've had to save the world," Morgan smiled.
The two sorceresses now prepared themselves as Villar now approached. Perhaps the future that everyone was dreaded could be avoided.
