The June Issue of Animalia Magazine was called the Bugged Junebug edition because of the pandemic surge going on. No one really knew why, but Animalia and its colonies were the least affected by the pandemic in general. But there was plenty of information that wasn't pandemic related in the issue.

There was an article that talked about how June became known, officially or otherwise, as midsummer. While part of it was due to the tilt and rotation on the earth, the other part was due to the early church and St. John the Baptist. According to Wikipedia, John the Baptist was born six months before Jesus was, and so that helped set things up as either "summer" or "winter".
It also talked about midsummer celebrations that were not only performed around the world, but also throughout history. While some were still celebrated, there were others that were no longer practiced, partly because of how strange they were.
But there was one surprising thing because of what it had inspired. It was the Night on Bald Mountain, which inspired both Spookyville and the final animated segment of Fantasia. The article that talked about it followed not only the "Witches' Sabbath" that had inspired the segment, but also compared it to both Germanic and Slavic folklore, which inspired the segment. One thing that was surprising was the fact that the primary villain's name wasn't Satan, but Chernabog, since at the time Disney considered using Satan a little too harsh for the Christian audience at the time.

There was also plenty of summer-themed articles throughout the Animalia magazine, so there was plenty to do and read in the magazine.
